IMAGING A PLURALITY OF IMAGES BY VARYING ACTIVATION TIMING OF IMAGING CHANNELS

Methods are provided for imaging patterns on a media including a pattern of registration sub-regions. The steps include operating an imaging head to direct imaging beams to form a first feature and a second feature in substantial alignment with at least one of the registration sub-regions during a first scan over the media and varying the activation timing of a first channel sub-group of the array with respect to a second channel sub-group of the array during the first scan.
