<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which a user does not have to designate an opposite connection party at a new different terminal in the case of adding communication by the new different terminal to communication connected to one terminal, a communication terminal, a communication management server, and a communication method. <P>SOLUTION: When a connection operation is performed in an additional terminal such as a television 24a in a standby state, the key session information acquiring part 241 of the additional terminal acquires key session information about the currently established key session from the key session information registering part 262 of a communication management server 26, and the slave session establishing part 243 of the additional terminal establishes a slave session with the opposite communication party outside an in-home network 20 relating to key session information of the key session.
