<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas sensor less varying in background potential by elements, excelling in output stability, and having a response speed enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: This gas sensor includes a reference pole and a detection pole on a solid electrolyte. This gas sensor is characterized in that it includes a two-ion conductive layer that conducts both of ionic species assuming ion conduction of the solid electrolyte and ionic species assuming ion conduction of the detection pole between the solid electrolyte and the detection pole, and that the conductive layer is formed by a gas-phase method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
