PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a membrane reflector which is capable of suppressing reduction in mirror plane precision of a dish, with respect to a rapid temperature change, while preventing a weight from being considerably increased. SOLUTION: A membrane reflector 1 includes a membrane-like dish 2 provided with a reflection plane, a back structure 3 which is provided on the back of the dish 2 and supports the dish 2; and a dish rib (reinforcement) 4 provided on the back of the dish 2 while avoiding the back structure 3. The dish rib 4 is disposed in accordance with a position of the back structure 3. Furthermore, the dish rib 4 is constituted of the same material as the dish 2. Thus, while preventing a weight of the membrane reflector 1 from being considerably increased, the dish 2 can be made hard to be bent. Therefore, while preventing the weight from being considerably increased, reduction in mirror surface accuracy of the dish 2, with respect to a temperature change, can be suppressed.
