PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot plug method, capable of preventing disturbance of signal on a bus line in inserting and pulling out of a package. SOLUTION: A hot plug package PKG2 includes a bus switch element IC1 which releases a connecting state of each signal line which connects a bus line BUS10 within a backboard package PKG1 with each circuit part within the hot plug package PKG2 when start or end of power supply LVCC from the outside is detected in attaching/detaching of a connector CN2 of the hot plug package PKG2; and a power supply delay circuit DC1 which delays the time up to start or end of the power supply VCC to each circuit part from the start time or end time of power supply to the bus switch element IC1 by a predetermined given delay time. After the lapse of a predetermined fixed time from starting of the power supply VCC to each circuit part, the bus switch element IC1 is switched to a closed state. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
