PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of appropriately reporting a failure which occurred in an occupied PCI device, a shared PCI device or a virtual PCI device for improving the maintenance property of a virtual computer system. SOLUTION: A means for delivering PCI device configuration information between a failure monitoring application for monitoring PCI device failures and a hypervisor is prepared, the failure monitoring application is operated in a user virtual computer and in a control virtual computer to perform monitoring of occupied PCI device failure and virtual PCI device failure by the failure monitoring application operated in the user virtual computer, and monitoring of shared PIC device failure by the failure monitoring application operated in the control virtual computer, whereby failures of the occupied PCI device and the virtual PCI device can be appropriately reported without duplication.
