PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary sensor which eliminates the effects on the amplitudes of signals obtained from magnetoresistive elements due to the temperature, accompanying the rotation of a rotating body, and facilitates obtaining binarization signal. SOLUTION: A constant current is supplied to the magnetoresistive elements 1, 2, and the signal is obtained as a voltage across both terminals and changed by resistances changed by a magnetic force changed due to the rotation of a rotor Rt. In a differential amplification means, comprising operational amplifiers 7, 8, 9 and resistors 10, 11, 12, 13, signals obtained by the elements 1, 2 and a reference voltage are inputted. The difference between the signals obtained by the elements 1, 2 is amplified and outputted. The value that corresponds to a difference-amplified signal level is compared with the threshold, and the binary signal is outputted, according to the relation of the magnitude.
