PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid level sensor capable of precisely measuring the liquid level in a metal container, even if the surface of the metal container whose liquid level is detected has a complex shape. SOLUTION: This liquid level sensor is so constituted as to stick a support member 27 made of a magnet having elasticity to an insulating substrate 11, and urge the insulating substrate 11 to the metal container 31 by this support member 27. Consequently, since layers of air are not formed between a thermistor and the metal container, the resistance value of the thermistor changes accurately, according to the change in the liquid level, and as a result, superior effects where accurate measurement of the liquid level in the metal container can be made becomes available.
