PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerant distributor for a heat exchanger of an air conditioner applied to a domestic room air conditioner, which performs efficient action on the heat exchanger in particular capable of stably distributing a refrigerant in a wide operation range and to provide an air conditioner that reduces trouble such as adhesion of dew on an indoor unit due to deterioration in the distribution ratio and refrigerant flowing noise. SOLUTION: The refrigerant distributor includes an inlet pipe 42, a plurality of outlet pipes 43 branched from the inlet pipe 42, and a plurality of grooves 44 on an inner surface of the inlet pipe 42. The problem is solved by the refrigerant distributor provided with a double cylindrical pipe portion having an inner pipe 45 with an outer diameter smaller than the smallest inner diameter of the inlet pipe 42 between the middle of the inlet pipe 42 and the entrance of the plurality of outlet pipes 43.
