PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly reverse printed printing paper and feed it to a paper receiving base without contaminating it in a paper receiver for a printer. SOLUTION: The paper receiver for the printer is provided with an impeller 30 comprising a rotation shaft 43 and a plurality of blade assemblies arranged at the rotation shaft 43. The respective blade assemblies are provided with first and second blade members 51, 52 arranged so as to be opened in V shapes in an opposite direction to a rotation direction viewed in the rotation shaft direction. The delivery front end of the printing paper P from a paper delivery device 8 is clamped between both blade members 51, 52, and the printing paper is reversed by rotation and delivered to the paper receiving base 31. The first blade member 51 arranged at an inner side in a radial direction has a length capable of retaining the printing paper P from a lower side, and the second blade member 52 arranged at an outer side in the radial direction is shorter than the first blade member 51 and set to a length that does not reach the printing image area of the printing paper P when the delivery front end of the printing paper P is clamped by both the blade members 51, 52.
