PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple building enabling a combination of a pergola and a roof fitted with a roof panel, which can present spaciousness by reducing the number of columns, and which facilitates the positioning of mounting of a beam for the pergola. SOLUTION: This simple building 1 comprises the roof 8 which has a gable rafter 7 placed on and fixed to the beam 5 supported by a support 13, and the pergola 2 arranged on at least either of the right and left sides of the roof 8. The pergola 2 comprises the beam 44, a beam fixing bracket 51 fixed to one longitudinal end of the beam 44, and the support 13 for supporting the other end of the beam 44. The beam fixing bracket 51 is locked slidably in the longitudinal direction of the gable rafter 7, and fixed in the arbitrary longitudinal position of the gable rafter 7. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
