PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas barrier laminate which excels in barrier properties and adhesion while suppressing distortions and twists between the barrier layer and the organic layer, and also restraining the generation of interlayer delamination and cracks. SOLUTION: The gas barrier laminate is formed by successively laminating at least on one surface of a polymer film 1 a barrier layer 2 consisting of a metal or inorganic compound and an organic layer 3 consisting of an organic compound. The barrier layer 2 is formed into a film using a vacuum deposition method, and the organic compound has a curing shrinkage ratio of≤10% and a glass transition point of≤20°C.
