PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of further improving working efficiency in a dark place by preventing the generation of a shadow of light while lightening a working section extensively. SOLUTION: A cylindrical cap 14 is provided at the front end of a housing 2, the rotation of an electric motor 3 installed in the housing 2 is transmitted to a front end tool retaining section 12a, and the front end tool retaining section 12a and a front end tool attached thereto are rotated and driven to perform required work in a driver bit (power tool). Lighting means (an LED 36 and a prism 37) each making the entire cap 1 emit light are provided. Moreover, the cap 14 is formed of a transparent or half transparent resin, and the lighting means (the LED 36 and the prism 37) are arranged in the cap 14. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
