PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device for mounting a portable cutter capable of directly, simply and rigidly mounting even a columnar workpiece. SOLUTION: This device comprises a base frame 2 having a support part 3 rotatably supporting a mounting arm 25 of a portable cutter 20 around a first shaft 4 on an upper side, a stationary side mounting plate 6 spaced at a predetermined distance from the support part 3 in the axial core direction of the first shaft 4, extending from the base frame 2 in a direction perpendicular to the axial core diction of the first shaft 4, and having a convex-like stationary side grip 7 with an arc cross section at an approximate center in an extending direction on the upper side, a movable side mounting plate 9 rotatably mounted around a second shaft 12 in parallel to the first shaft 4 at the bottom of an extension base of the stationary side mounting plate 6 of the base frame 2 on one end, formed into a concave-like arc cross section on the stationary side grip 7 side, and having a movable side grip 11 reducing and enlarging an aperture area formed between it and the stationary side grip 7 by rotation around the second shaft 12, and a fixing means for fixing the movable side mounting plate 9 to the stationary side mounting plate 6.
