PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die assembly, the fitting method thereof and a forming apparatus, in which a return-back rod at a die casting machine side and a push-out plate at the die assembly side can automatically be removed and connected, when interchanging the die assembly. SOLUTION: The die assembly 1 to be attached/detached to/from the forming apparatus is provided with a push-out pin 18 which is disposed between the return-back rod 7 and a cavity 15 in the forming apparatus S and can be advanced and retracted in the die opening/closing directions of the dies between a position where the tip advances to the cavity 15 and a position where the tip retracts from the cavity 15 and a block member 25 which is disposed between the push-out pin 18 and the return-back rod 7 and fixed to one of the push-out pin 18 and the return-back rod 7 and connected with the other side in a freely attachable/detachable manner. Driving force in the die opening/closing directions of the return-back rod 7 can be transmitted to the push-out pin 18 by connecting this block member 25 with the push-out pin 18 or the return-back rod 7.
