PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bird cage which can further improve the conventional sanitary aspects. SOLUTION: This bird cage 10 has an L-shaped leg portion 21; a wholly inclined floor portion 22 supported on the leg portion 21 to form the bottom surface of a bird-rearing space 10a; a back sidewall portion 23 for forming the back side wall portion of the bird cage 10 among the front, rear, right and left sides-forming wall portions of the rearing space 10a; a ceiling portion 24 for forming the upper side of the rearing space 10a; and a refuse-receiving portion 51 for receiving refuses formed in the rearing space 10a. The bird cage is characterized by wholly inclining the floor portion 22, disposing the refuse-receiving portion 51 at a place for receiving the refuses dropped along the inclination of the floor portion 22, and bending a flat metal plate to form the leg portion 21 and the floor portion 22.
