PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To propose a deflocculation apparatus (cyclone) which can be incorporated into a powder inhalation device. SOLUTION: In the deflocculation apparatus (16) which includes a spiral chamber (73) which has an opening for supplying a powdered medicament, at least an air inlet (75) for making air go to a spiral shape chamber (73) in a tangential direction, and a release mouth (74) which is at a fixed distance in the shaft direction of the deflocculation apparatus (16) from the at least an air inlet (75), the release mouth (74) for emitting the air together with the powdered medicament which is deflocculated, and is employed for deflocculating the powdered medicament, the diameter d of the spiral chamber (73) is 6 mm≤d≤10 mm.
