A spindle motor simplifies assembly by pressing a thrust stopper to a base and pressing a bearing housing to the thrust stopper for the assembly. A coupling hole is formed in a base(110). A thrust stopper(120) has an opened upper surface and a cylinder shape. An outer circumference of the thrust stopper is coupled and inserted into the coupling hole. A bearing housing(130) has opened upper and lower surfaces and a cylinder shape. An outer circumference of the bearing housing is coupled and inserted into an inner circumference of the thrust stopper. A bearing is fixed inside the bearing housing. A rotation axis(150) is supported by the bearing and is installed to rotate. A lower end of the rotation axis is contacted with the thrust stopper. A stator(160) is arranged at an outer side of the bearing housing. A rotor(170) is coupled to the rotation axis and rotates by operating with the stator.
