Bed extension for caravans

An accessory for extending a bed, double or single, of a caravan comprises a planar surface on which a back cushion may be placed in use. The planar surface comprises two portions connected to each other so that the planar surface can be folded in half for storage. Each portion preferably comprises a tubular frame supporting a mesh lying surface, and a pair of folding legs with a threaded and tilting foot arrangement. The accessory may be used to extend a single bed to a width of 104 cm.
