<p>An electrical capacitor with elements in a metal casing filled with impregnating fluid esp. halogenated hydrocarbons, and with plastic insulation between the elements and casing wall, has this insulation formed of a coating, on the inner wall face, of ahigh-dielectric-plastic inert to the impregnating fluid; the crystallite m.pt. of the plastic is above the maximum operating temp. Prefd. materials are high-mol wt. high-crystalline olefin polymers, esp. polyamide.</p> |
