A gel composition comprises a bioresorbable polysaccharide, and resorbable particles in suspension in the gel. The particles comprise chitin and/or chitosan. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing a composition comprising: (A) dissolving chitosan; (B) adding glutamic acid and succinic anhydride; (C) neutralizing; (D) adding particles containing chitin and/or chitosan under agitation being performed before or after the addition of glutamic acid, or at the end of the method; and (E) optionally sterilizing.
