<p>A gum trimming tool bit has a one piece ceramic construction with a grip end (2) for fitting into drill chucks and with the working end having a two stage conical taper (3). The main taper us at approx. 14 deg. while the tip taper is at approx. 30 deg. The very tip is flattened off at right ambled to the tool axis with the flat end with a diameter of 0.05 to 0.3 mm. The ceramic is a zirconium oxide or a mixture of zirconium oxide and aluminum oxide.</p> |
