DATA DRIVING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

A data driving apparatus of a liquid crystal display is provided to prevent stripes on the screen by overdriving first part of a pixel data which are adjacent to the vertical direction when driving vertical 2 dot inversion system. A timing controller(41) outputs the various kinds control signal for controlling the drive of data driver and gate driving unit. A gate driving unit(42) outputs the gate on signal to each gate line of the liquid crystal panel. A data driver(43) operates each data lines on the liquid crystal panel to the perpendicularity 2 dot inversion system, and overdrives one or more pixel signal among the pixel signal of the straight polarity continued to the vertical direction or the negative polarity. The data driving apparatus of the liquid crystal display comprises the liquid crystal panel(44) which is driven with the pixel signal and gate on signal and indicates image.
