Method and device for mounting an overhead wire

The method involves hanging a contact wire (4) of an overhead wire (1) at a rotary arm (2). An adjusting device (7) is arranged at the contact wire of the overhead wire on both the sides of the rotary arm. The adjusting device is arranged parallel to a track axle (6) for determining a reference position of the rotary arm. The adjusting device is rotated opposite to the track axle, where the adjusting device is held horizonatally. The reference position is adjusted by a light source, which is fastened normal to the track axle to the adjusting device. An independent claim is also included for a device for adjusting a position of a rotary arm at a contact wire of an overhead wire, which runs along a track axle.
