<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cool a battery without introducing the outside air into a battery housing part within a case and facilitate watertight guarantee. SOLUTION: A case 25 made of an extruded aluminum material is formed so that three battery cells 23 to be connected in series are housed so as to closely come in contact with the inner circumferential surface of a plurality of battery housing spaces 27 passing through in the back and forth direction of a car body. The battery housing spaces 27 are formed in two steps up and down, and cooling air introducing spaces 45, 47, 49 passing through at both ends in the back and forth direction of the car body are formed in adjacent four battery housing spaces 27. An opening part of the battery housing space 27 at front and rear ends of the case 25 is sealed through a sealing material 87 with a terminal cover 65 having a bus bar to be electrically passed to a terminal 23a of the battery cell 23, and cooling air introducing holes 75, 77, 79 corresponding to the cooling air introducing spaces 45, 47, 49 are formed in the terminal cover 65.</p> |
