A sleeve adapted to be sleeved on a disposable drinking cup 3 includes a multilayer sleeve body 100 that defines a central axis and is open at both ends. The sleeve body 100 includes a supporting layer 4 extending the full length of the sleeve, and a foam layer 5 attached to the inner surface 42 of the supporting layer 4 and adapted to be in frictional contact with the cup 3. An ink-printable layer 6 may be provided on the outer surface 41 of the supporting layer 4. The foam layer may be frusto-conical and may be made from polyethylene or polylactic acid. It may be continuous, Figure 4, or may include angularly-displaced elongate bars 51 with vent channels 52 therebetween, Figure 6. |
