A method and apparatus of interfacing data is provided to perform data transmission by using differential signaling to reduce power consumption used up in a data interface. In a method and apparatus of interfacing data, a switching block(130) receives the differential data signals and strobe signal and outputs differential data signals based on the mode control signal or outputs one data signal and strobe signal among differential data signals. An amplifier(140) differentially amplifies differential data signals outputted from the switching block or amplifies one data signal and strobe signal and transmits the amplified data through a plurality of transmit lines.
