MENUFACTURING METHOD FOR A YELLOW DIAMOND

A manufacturing method of a yellow diamond is provided to discolor colorless diamond into yellow diamond without damage by irradiating an electron beam in the colorless diamond using an electron accelerator, providing the energy and performing a thermal process. An electron beam is irradiated in a surface of colorless diamond by using an electron accelerator. A color of the colorless diamond is changed into blue by providing 5MeV - 10MeV of energy in the colorless diamond. The diamond is discolored to the yellow by heat-treating the diamond discoloring into the blue after the first and the second step at 100 -1800°C. In the third step, the thermal process is performed under attack, an inactive atmosphere or a reduction/non-oxidizing atmosphere for 10 minutes - 20 hours.
