A plasma display apparatus prevents crosstalk between a sustain discharge and an address discharge by discharging and separating the sustain discharge and the address discharge. A plasma display panel includes a scan electrode and a sustain electrode. A driving unit supplies the sustain pulse generating the sustain discharge to the scan electrode and the sustain electrode. The diving unit supplies the scan pulse generating the address discharge to the scan electrode for the period supplying the sustain pulse to the sustain electrode. The address discharge is generated between the sustain discharges. At least one scan pulse is supplied to the scan electrode while the minimum voltage of the sustain pulse is maintained in the scan electrode or the maximum pulse of the sustain pulse is maintained in the sustain electrode.
