An electronic device and an image photographing method using the same are provided to control photographing environment without additional sensors, thereby reducing the volume and reducing costs. A specific value is extracted from a preview image photographed by one of a plurality of cameras(S414). The photographing environment of another one among the cameras is controlled according to the specific value. The specific image photographed through this is displayed. The specific value is an auto gain control value or a white balance value.
