A method for transmitting uncompressed AV(Audio Video) data is provided to perform efficient medium access for efficiently transmission of the uncompressed AV data transmitted at a high frequency band of 10 or more GHz band. A method for allocating data slots for transmitting uncompressed AV data comprises the following steps of: receiving a first super frame from a network coordinator(100) during a first beacon period; enabling at least one wireless device(200a,200b,200c) belonging to a network to transmit a frame requesting a data slot to the network coordinator within a data slot reservation period included in the first super frame; receiving a second super frame, including a data slot allocated from the network coordinator, during a second beacon period; and transmitting uncompressed AV data to the other wireless device during a period corresponding to the data slot. Communication with the network coordinator is performed through a millimeter wave channel. Within the first and second super frames, control sections divided into plural sections are distributably arranged between plural data slots. |
