METHOD FOR REDUCING PAPR IN OFDM SYSTEM USING ORTHOGONAL PILOT SEQUENCE

<p>A method for attenuating a PAPR(Peak-to-Average Power Ratio) using an orthogonal pilot progression in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing system is provided to attenuate PAPR by mapping location control information one to one and allocating a pilot-phase control progression combination to minimize PAPR for input data. An orthogonal pilot progression is allocated for inputted data(S10). A phasing progression for the pilot proximity subcarrier group and the allocated orthogonal pilot progression is mapped(S20). A transmission signal is determined by allocating pilot - phasing control progression combination with the smallest PAPR(S30). A transmission pilot progression is searched by using the orthogonality of the pilot progression(S40). The transmission signal is restored by searching the phase control information mapped in the transmission pilot progression(S60).</p>
