An image base river/watercourse management system and a method thereof are provided to improve the management efficiency by making database about facility, license/permission, and disaster information with GIS technology. A database(100) contains geographical information database(110), river information database(120), management information base(130), and an image information database(140). A management means(300) performs input, modification, search those database. A control means(200) matches those information and transmits processed information to the management means. A mobile communication means(400) having a GPS module is traced by the control means and receives management command from the control means in real time. |
