A cosmetic composition including Carpinus tschonoskii leaf extract is provided to hinder MMP-1, to remove toxicity of skin cell, to accelerate collagen synthesis and to improve skin wrinkle. A cosmetic composition for improvement of skin wrinkle contains Carpinus tschonoskii leaf extract as an active ingredient. The Carpinus tschonoskii leaf extract is an ethanol extract. A content of the Carpinus tschonoskii leaf extract is 0.0001 - 1 weight% to the 100 weight of composition.
