<p>The method involves obtaining a navigation model, an initial estimation of a position of a receiver (1) and an initial estimation of a system time. Receipt of five individual satellite signals from satellites (5) is verified to execute an iterative calculation loop, which determines the estimations according to hypotheses on the time and calculates a selection quantity according to the receiver position estimation and the hypothesis on the time. Position estimation value of the receiver is selected as a receiver position for which the quantity verifies a selection condition. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for locating a receiver for a satellite positioning system (2) a storage unit in which a software comprising instructions to implement a receiver locating method is stored.</p> |
