The present invention relates to a carriage arrangement having a foot part (5), a variable-height weapon part (2) and a height-adjustment device (13), with the foot part (5) and the weapon part (2) having the capability to be fixed to one another via a fixing device (9). The weapon part (2) can be moved relative to the foot part (5) via the height-adjustment device (13) when the fixing device (9) is released. In this case, the height-adjustment device (13) and a holding apparatus (12) arranged on the weapon part (2) are designed and arranged such that the holding apparatus (12) fixes a weapon subarea relative to the foot part when the fixing device (9) is fixed and on operation of the height-adjustment device (13). The invention also relates to a weapon carrier (for example a land vehicle or watercraft, aircraft or building part) which has a carriage arrangement such as this.
