METHOD FOR CONTROLLING ELECTRONIC PARKING BRAKE

A method for controlling electronic parking brake is provided to operate a brake automatically by monitoring whether a brake pedal is pushed or gear is changed to a parking position. A method for controlling electronic parking brake is comprised of steps: monitoring a break operation signal formed in brake operation; monitoring a gear position through a position of a shift lever and determining shift position corresponding to a parking gear; switching parking brake automatically based on shift position corresponding the break operation and parking gear; switching off automatic parking brake(400) automatically when the shift lever is moved to other position not parking after break operation is formed.
