A fibre-cement product is assessed in order to predict the fibre content, the moisture content and/or the mechanical properties of the product. The assessment includes obtaining a near-infrared spectra and predicting the fibre content of the product, the moisture content of the product, or the mechanical properties of the product by reference to the multivariate regression analysis of the near-infrared spectra. |
