A citrus press (10) for use in extracting juice from citrus (110) is disclosed. The citrus press (10) comprises of a reamer (57), an actuating arm (70), and a fruit dome (90) carried by the actuating arm (70) for holding the citrus (110) against the reamer (57). The reamer (57) has a plurality of primary ribs for contacting the flesh of the citrus (110), each of the primary ribs having at least two shape profiles.
