<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide optimum image quality for an object by using an optimum parameter taking a sight on the object for each image in all images acquired during consecutive photographing, in an imaging apparatus having a consecutive photographing function. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus having a consecutive photographic functions, when a prescribed object cannot be detected from image data acquired during consecutive photographing, area information of the object in the acquired image data is estimated from one or more pieces of area information of the object stored immediately prior to this; and a parameter for image processing to be applied to the acquired image data and/or a parameter for imaging control in immediate imaging is calculated, on the basis of the estimated area information of the object. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
