OPTICAL ELEMENT WRAPPED BODY, BACKLIGHT, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical element wrapped body capable of improving insufficiency of rigidity of optical elements while suppressing increase of thickness of a liquid crystal display or deterioration of display characteristics of the liquid crystal display; to provide a backlight provided with the same; and to provide the liquid crystal display.

SOLUTION: The optical element wrapped body is provided with one or two or more optical elements, a supporting body supporting the one or two or more optical elements and a wrapping member wrapping the one or two or more optical elements and the supporting body. The wrapping member has a layer containing a block copolymer of a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and a conjugated diene and the ratio of the vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon to the conjugated diene by weight is 95:5 to 5:95.
