PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of continuously producing thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers with improved homogeneity and fusing characteristics. SOLUTION: The invention relates to a method of continuously producing thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers with improved homogeneity and fusing characteristics, such that one or several kinds of organic isocyanates (A) and a mixture (B) with a Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atom consisting of (B1) which has 1-85 equivalent% (in relation to organic isocyanate groups in (A)) of one or several compounds with an average of at least 1.8 pieces of Zerewitinoff active hydrogen atoms and an average molecular weight M<SB>n</SB>of 450-10,000 and (B2) which has 15-99 equivalent% (in relation to the organic isocyanate groups in (A)) of one kind or several kinds of chain extenders with an average of at least 1.8 pieces of Zerewitinoff hydrogen atoms and a molecular weight of 60-400; in addition to 0-20 wt.% (in relation to the total amount of TPU) of other auxiliary agents and an additive (C); are mixed in a homogeneous manner in a reactor over a maximum period of 5 seconds, so that there is a temperature difference of less than 20°C between constituents (A) and (B) before they are brought together in the reactor.
