PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a satisfactory image by appropriately correcting an output signal from a defective pixel. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus is provided with: an output ratio calculation means for calculating output ratio based on output signals from pixels of the respective sets by considering at least two of pixels arranged in the same direction about right and left, up and down and the slant direction so as to sandwich the defective pixel in a solid-state imaging apparatus; an average value calculation means for calculating an average value of the output signals by selecting at least two pixels in the same color as that of the defective pixels arranged in the vicinity so as to sandwich the defective pixels in any of the right and left, up and down or the slant direction based on the calculated output ratio of the respective sets; and a correction means for replacing signals from the defective pixels by the average value calculated by the average value calculation means, whereby performing a correction processing with higher adaptability.
