PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the work of setting or updating setting information in a wireless terminal, required for the wireless terminal to be connected a wireless LAN system and perform communication with other apparatuses, regardless of the number of the wireless terminals. SOLUTION: The wireless terminal 10 is provided with a wireless communication part 11 for transmitting authentication information through an open wireless transmission line 20 and an open VLAN 50 to a setting distributor 60. The setting distributor 60 is provided with an authentication processing part 63 for judging whether or not to permit the communication between the wireless terminal 10 and a server 80 on the basis of the authentication information, and a protocol processing part 66 for transmitting the setting information required for the communication through a secure wireless transmission line 30 and a secure VLAN 70 to the wireless terminal 10. The wireless terminal 10 performs the communication with the server 80 through the secure wireless transmission line 30 and the secure VLAN 70 based on the setting information received from the setting distributor 60.
