PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a muffler device for an air intake port of a vehicle with high muffling performance capable of securing sufficient air permeability without much projection quantity to an outside and an inside of an engine room. SOLUTION: This muffler device for the air intake port for the vehicle provided with an opening part provided on an engine room cover and a sound absorption member provided near the opening part and muffling noise leaking to an outside from an inside of the engine room via the opening part, is provided with panels 21, 22 covering the opening parts 16, 18 with separating from the opening part 16, 18 and having areas larger than at least the opening parts 16, 18, and the sound absorption members 31, 34 opposing to the opening parts 16, 18 at center parts of the panels 21, 22. The sound absorption members 31, 41 project at center parts thereof and include inclined surfaces gradually approaching the opening parts from outer edge parts toward the center parts.
