PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generator for a faucet and a faucet device, improved in power generation efficiency, by restraining an useless flow not applying torque to a moving blade. SOLUTION: This generator has the moving blade having a plurality of moving blade vane parts and rotating around the axis by flowing water flowing in a moving blade flow passage via the moving blade vane parts. The moving blade vane parts are arranged so that a main flow flowing out of the moving blade flow passage has a flow component opposed to a bypass flow flowing out of a bypass flow passage of bypassing the diametrical outside of the moving blade vane parts without interposing the moving blade vane parts.
