PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing/drying machine capable of evenly drying laundry for a short period of time and reducing the time for the drying step. SOLUTION: Air sucked into a fan 121 flows into a front outlet 205 facing a drum opening part 108 or into a rear outlet disposed in the rear of a rotary drum 104 by the switch of an air channel selector valve. As a control device 114 controls the switch of the air channel selector valve, air for drying blows out of the front outlet 205 in a constant-rate drying step while air for drying blows out of the rear outlet in a reduced-rate drying step. Accordingly, air for drying is effectively applied to laundry on the rear wall 153 side of the rotary drum 104, to which air for drying has not been effectively applied in the constant-rate drying step, in the reduced-rate drying step.
