<p>A grommet has a small-diameter tube part which is that side of the grommet which is inserted into a through hole, an enlarged-diameter tube part contiguous to the small-diameter tube part, and a large-diameter tube part contiguous to the large diameter side of the enlarged-diameter tube part with a vehicle body engagement recess part between them. The vehicle body engagement recess part is engaged with the through hole with a tilt wall of the enlarged-diameter tube part deflected inward. The large-diameter tube part is formed to have a pair of opposite long sides, a pair of opposite short sides, and round parts at the four corners. The vehicle body engagement recess part is formed in a shape having round parts at the four corners so that the shape corresponds to the shape of the through hole. The tilt wall of the enlarged-diameter tube part is formed to have a pair of opposite long sides, a pair of opposite short sides, and a tilted side part at each corner between a long side and a short side.</p> |
