<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet in which back plate strength is large, neither attachment plate nor mounting hardware for equipment is required, and appearance is satisfactory. <P>SOLUTION: At each of the right and left edges of the back plate 2, a protruding strip portion A protruding backward further from the back plate 2 is formed by bending. The upper and lower edges of the right plate 3 and left plate 4 are respectively extended upward or downward further from the protruding strip portions A to form first flange portions B. The first flange portions B are bent toward the protruding strip portions A side, and are welded to the protruding strip portions A. The upper and lower edges of the back plate 2 are protruded upward or downward further from the protruding strip portions A to form second flange portions C.
