<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indicating instrument device capable of suppressing overshoot or pulsation of a pointer by acquiring a sufficient attraction force, concerning the indicating instrument device wherein the pointer is secured to a pointer driving means by the attraction force of a magnet. <P>SOLUTION: The indicating instrument device has a display panel 21, the pointer 22 provided on the front side of the display panel 21, and the pointer driving means so provided on the rear side of the display panel 21 as to rotate the pointer 22. The indicating instrument device further is equipped with a ring-shaped first magnet 22c provided onto the pointer 22, and a second magnet 23a so provided onto the pointer driving means as to be opposed to the first magnet 22c. The pointer 22 is rotated by the attraction forces of the first and second magnets 22c, 23a in linkage with the rotational driving of the pointer drive means.
